Thu Apr 16th 2024 has seen the release of the Barcelona Declaration on Open Research Information. The declaration, signed by numerous research-performing and -funding organisations worldwide, calls for a transformation in the way research information is used and produced, making openness of information about the conduct and communication of research the new norm.
