Deadline for CRIS2022 conference submissions extended

Mon, 14/02/2022 - 12:30 -- euroCRIS Secret...

The original Feb 15th deadline for CRIS2022 submissions via easyChair has now been extended to Mar 13th, 2022. We are hoping that the gradually easing of the restrictions around Covid-19 may make it possible for some additional projects and initiatives to consider submitting a contribution and attending the event, which as stated in previous communications will be held as an on-site conference in Dubrovnik next May.

8th Seminar of University Knowledge Bases

Fri, 11/02/2022 - 20:10 -- euroCRIS Secret...

The 8th Seminar of Polish University Knowledge Bases will be held as an online event in Mar 7-10, 2022. Originally conceived as a user group meeting for institutions running Omega-PSIR-based CRIS systems in Poland, this annual meeting has gradually grown in scope and become a fully-fledged international CRIS conference in its own. The programme this year will feature the likes of Gunnar Sivertsen from NIFU in Norway, Federico Ferrario from CINECA in Italy or John Donovan from TU Dublin in Ireland and EARMA.

An update on the CRIS2022 conference

Tue, 01/02/2022 - 11:14 -- euroCRIS Secret...

As previously announced, the CRIS2022 conference will be held May 12-14, 2022 in Dubrovnik (Croatia). Given the numerous questions we have received on the format this conference will have in view of the evolving situation around the Covid-19 pandemic, this is to confirm that plans are to hold the CRIS2022 as an on-site-only event. While remote presentations will be possible for those colleagues unable to travel due to possible restrictions in their countries and while we may livestream specific bits of the event, there are currently no restrictions for vaccinated persons to travel to Croatia and we are keen to return to our regular on-site meeting schedule to allow the irreplaceable face-to-face networking to happen again after quite some time of digital-only interaction.
