CHANGE OF DATES OF THE CRIS2016 CONFERENCE (ST ANDREWS)

Dear members,

Last May we published 15-17 June 2016 as the provisional dates for the CRIS2016 Conference in St Andrews (Scotland).

This announcement has yielded a significant number of messages from potential attendees explaining that other events for people active in the field of research information management will overlap with our conference.

The euroCRIS Board understands the problem and has decided to reschedule the CRIS2016 conference to 9-11 June 2016. The location stays the same: St Andrews.

CASRAI Reconnect15: Registration open!

LIBER2015 Innovation Award to St Andrews

During the LIBER annual Conference, June 2015, one of the three Innovation Awards was given to St Andrews for the paper 'The Emerging Role of Institutional CRIS in Facilitating Open Scholarship'. Anna Clements, euroCRIS executive of Strategy, was one the of the co-authors of this paper.

Asian/Latin American Speaker for IFLA

During the ILFA conference, 15-21 August 2015, in Cape Town (South Africa) a special session will be organised on the topic 'Research Data & Libraries'. For this meeting our Strategic Partner COAR is looking for an expert in Research Data Management coming form Asia or Latin America that is willing to attend the IFLA Conference.

Membership Meeting, Paris, May 2015

The last euroCRIS Members Meeting took place on May 11 and 12, 2015, in Paris. It was co-organised with AMUE, the association of French universities.
