FAIRness of Research Information

14th International Conference on Current Research Information Systems

The CRIS2018 Conference is organised by euroCRIS in cooperation with Umeå University, Sweden.

OCLC Research and euroCRIS, the international organization for research information, announce a strategic partnership to recognize and understand international research information management practices through collaborative research.

The Strategic Membership Meeting will take place from 20-22 November 2017 in Bratislava, Slovakia. This meeting will be hosted by the Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information (CVTI SR). Also non-members are welcome! See our webpage for the draft programme. Registration, also for the dinner, is now possible.

The overview is a result of a survey conducted within the framework of European Network for Research Evaluation in the Social Sciences and Humanities (ENRESSH, www.enressh.eu).

Following the release for comment of a draft document last February with 12 user stories that outline priority functionalities for repositories, the main topic of this annual meeting will be next generation repositories.

The survey is addressed to 5 different audiences, all actors, in various capacities, of open access: publishers, researchers, libraries, funders and the general public. It will collect information and suggestions mainly about common standards, good practices, new features and new integrated services.
