Annual CRIS Seminars Series

This Seminar series is open only for euroCRIS members and representatives of euroCRIS strategic partners.
Seminar 13-14 September 2010 Brussels Evaluation of Research using a CRIS Palace of the Academies More than ever evaluation of research is becoming important. It is in the interest of everyone that the information is accurate, that the evaluation methods are reliable and that the indicators used are representative. This seminar will bring together experts covering these topics to debate the merits of various approaches and hopefully to converge in a way forward.
Seminar 14-15 September 2009 Brussels Recording Research Hotel Errera, Brussels The background of this year's theme is that both nationally and internationally there is a lot of information from research activities, but it is fragmented, varies in quality/structure and is not easy to get at. Seminar 15-16 September 2008 Brussels CRIS: the strategic centre of the business Hotel Errera, Brussels In the previous seminars the following topics have been covered: CRIS + ERA; CRIS + repositories (OA/GRIDs); CRIS + process / GRIDs; CRIS + Innovation; CRIS + e-Infrastructure. The theme for the coming seminar is a CRIS as the mechanism for providing a homogeneous view over repositories, administrative systems (finance, HR, project management) and simultaneously act as the control of workflow and the source for internal (to control systems) and external (view to the world) directories. In other words: CRIS: the strategic centre of the business (in any organisation concerned with research and development). Download report
